Our Story

Established in 2010, RUXX is all about clever stylish design. Our collection has grown over the years creating new innovative styles delivered with excellent quality. The inside of our work is as important as the outside and the wow factor is always paramount.

RUXX is the brain child of Sarah Ward-Hendry who has been immersed in fashion design and manufacture since her teenage years. Starting out in costume knitwear for the BBC then going on to work in fashion, photography and most recently leather accessories. Located in West Cork Ireland ,Sarah designs and makes each product in short runs from her studio workshop near Kinsale. Always chasing a desire for stylish practicality and head turning design. Her collections focus on ease of use, comfort and luxury.

We believe that an organised life is a happier one, Ruxx bags typically feature internal pockets, a key holder, external pockets and secure fastenings. Our signature silver lining will bounce light into the bottom of your bag meaning you will easily be able to find all the things that matter most .

Recent exciting additions include our unique range of Toscana Shearling fur scarves and pure Italian silk scarves designed by Sarah to add a touch of elegance to your wardrobe.

Designing luxury handbags that are practical,
comfortable and stylish. We don’t design a box on a strap, our bags are designed to fit the body.

Our New Shop in Kinsale

We have just opened our first shop in the beautiful coastal town of Kinsale. With an array of stunning architecture, Kinsale is renown for its great restaurants, café’s, and independent shops with a backdrop of the stunning yachts in the marina. Kinsale is full of foodies, creatives and makers, so what better place to showcase Ruxx.
